Adopt a Loyal German Shepherd and Pitbull Mix

We are seeking a loving forever home for our dog—a wonderful German Shepherd and Pitbull mix. He is neutered and approximately 5 years old. With his family, he is an affectionate companion and exhibits strong protective instincts at home. However, due to his high prey drive, we recommend he live in a cat-free environment, without small dogs, other small animals, or children.

He is friendly with new people when introduced outside of the home, especially when treats are involved. His eagerness to please means he trains easily and has a high food motivation. While he can be reactive towards other dogs on leash, he tends to get along well with them when off-leash.

Our dog has undergone professional obedience training and understands commands in both English and German, including sit, down, here, and stay (although 'stay' could use a bit more reinforcement). He enjoys hikes, park excursions, and tug-of-war games.

We truly love him, but due to the arrival of our new baby, it has become increasingly challenging for him to adjust. We hope to find a new home that can provide him the love and attention he deserves.
