Blue Heeler Seeking a Loving New Home

Meet our charming Australian Blue Heeler, an intact male ready for rehoming. This delightful pup is 7 months old and full of energy, showcasing all the lovable traits of a typical heeler. He has his tail and dew claws intact, essential for balance during herding and agility activities.

Currently in his teenage phase, this energetic dog can be a bit mouthy and vocal, and he's going through a challenging stage that requires patience and guidance. Thankfully, he is sure to mature into a well-behaved companion with the right training.

Both his parents are exceptional dogs, and he comes from an AKC registered lineage. He is up to date on all his vaccinations, including puppy shots, rabies, and distemper. Our living situation has changed recently, and I find it difficult to provide him the attention and training he deserves, especially with my health declining and the house getting crowded with family.

This Blue Heeler has a strong herding drive and an instinct to chase small prey, though he hasn't caught any just yet. He knows basic commands such as sit, shake, stand, and lay down, especially when motivated by treats. While he is not crate trained, a crate is available for his new home. To keep him entertained, he will need chew toys; he enjoys chewing on old shoes and toys.
