Yorkshire Terrier Puppies For Sale in Canby, Oregon

I am a retired registered nurse residing in Canby, OR, and I'm thrilled to announce that my precious puppies are the offspring of my 4-year-old AKC-registered Yorkshire Terriers. These adorable pups will showcase the classic Steel Blue (silver) and tan colors as they mature. Initially, all Yorkshire puppies are born black and tan, transitioning to their stunning adult coats between 6 to 18 months of age.

This time, my lovely dam, Hailey Rose, has been bred with a charming 3 lb AKC stud, Twinkie, from Vancouver, WA. This will be Hailey's first litter with such a petite male. Both parents come from distinguished Champion show lines and were acquired with 'AKC breeding privileges' for an additional cost of $500 each, ensuring these puppies are AKC quality show dogs available for registration with the AKC (registrational fee to be covered by the buyer if desired).

Out of compassion, I no longer dock the tails of my puppies after a past experience where a litter cried inconsolably for hours post-procedure. If a docked tail is preferred, a $500 deposit is required to arrange for the procedure, which must occur only between 3-5 days old. Dewclaws will be removed at a similar age to prevent future complications. Each puppy receives routine preventative worming and their first round of vaccinations at 8 weeks. They will be ready for their forever homes between 11-12 weeks old, fully weaned and socialized, making them available from the last week of February 2025. Diet: The puppies will be fully weaned from momma by 6-7.5 weeks and will start on Royal Canin puppy loaf between 5-6 weeks, gradually transitioning to Royal Canin dry kibble. Daily, at 4 PM, they are provided with fresh, cooked vegetables (like peas, green beans, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, or yams), rice, and a portion of fresh cooked meat (including chicken, hamburger, turkey, and occasionally other proteins).

Be cautious of scams! Genuine breeders will eagerly communicate by phone and invite you to meet with both the dam and sire, assessing your family's suitability for one of their puppies before any sale. Expect to spend at least an hour learning how to care for your new pet, followed by signing a legal care contract prior to puppy release.

Research the Yorkshire Terrier breed thoroughly to understand the commitment required for a lifelong companion that may need you for up to 18 years.
